June 2012 Newsletter: Sharing

Sharing Good News
The same problem we have with sharing the Good News of the Gospel is the same problem we have with sharing good products especially when there is the potential for income in it for us.  Many of us would readily share something with someone in which there is no personal gain for us in it.  Yet, why do we face this complexity when it comes to sharing good things with others, when there is a potential profit for us?  Especially the good news of the Gospel, we treat Good news as if it is bad news.  While admitting that we are sinners is not easy to handle, the good news that we don’t have to remain in our sin is something to rejoice over.  Likewise, if you have anything good to share with someone and at the same time you get rewarded why should there be any shame in that?  YHWH rewards us when we obey Him by sharing the Gospel with others.(Mark 16:15)  Paul preaches of receiving crowns of righteousness for fighting the good fight of faith. (2 Tim. 4:7-8)  My point is simply this God wants us to understand the spiritual principles at work in the natural things we do.  (1 Cor. 15:46)  Our lack of understanding the natural will compromise our understanding of the spiritual principles at work.  So, like Abraham what lies at work is a question of confidence.  Remember when Abraham was faced with having to go to pagan nations for resources, what was his mode of operandi?  Correct, to compromise his wife Sarah to preserve himself.  While Father Abraham was a great patriarch, a man of great faith who clearly was blessed of YHWH, he like all of mankind before and after Yahoshua had his issues.  When we lack confidence in God we make choices that compromise those around us.  This doesn’t mean we are no longer friends of God, nor does this mean God no longer considers us His faithful.  What it means is we can put no confidence in the flesh, but our trust and belief has to be in Yah completely in anything we do.  Don’t allow others pessimism or cynicism to cause you to quit.  Sharing the good news of Christ also brings about such tendencies by many who you will minister to, but don’t let that stop you from sowing seeds of life into them.  Remember, not everyone who the disciples preached to believed.  But to as many as believed received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. (John 1:12)   The most important thing to remember about anyone or anything you represent or endorse, make sure it does what it says it will do.  It’s hard to share anything you don’t believe in yourself.  Being a person of good character is important.  Your reputation should proceed you, the hallmark on others ability to believe what you say affects your business relationship, but also opens the door for you to share the more important things of life.  Owning your own business requires you to be a person of sound reputation if you plan on being successful.  One has to believe in the product or service that you are selling them, and that is hard to do if the seeds you have sown have been questionable.

What’s New
Essential Treasures gets a facelift.
I have been working feverishly to update the website so that it is easier to read, less wordy, and easy to maneuver around.  I have also added a store powered by Amazon to the facelift.  This feature allows you to easily, and safely purchase resources you may need to help you on your journey to wellness and wealth.  I am also working on a blog and updating my newsletter to start a monthly publication like the one you are receiving now.  This way you can stay posted as to any specials or promotions, find out about other useful websites, find out about affiliate programs that you might want to take advantage of and most importantly receive that Spiritual Manna that will help you to make it through your month.  Another useful feature of the newsletter is I will be adding some bite size lessons on the Ancient Paleo Hebrew.  Anyone who knows me knows that I am equally as excited about the restoration of the Hebrew language as I am about the oils. This beautiful language allows us to not only read what God is speaking to us in His word, but to see what He is saying.  The pictoral language makes it easy to connect on a deeper level to the heart of God in His word and represents the fulfillment of a prophecy in Zephaniah 3:9.
For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
(Zep 3:9)
My desire is for the newsletter and the blog to minister to you spirit, soul, and body.
Let’s Get Blogging!  Another new feature
The blog is another neat feature that I will have up and running, a blog was necessary because although the newsletter allows me to communicate with you, the blog allows us to communicate with each other.  Be encouraged and strengthened by others who are also on this journey.  While many of us may be scattered the internet makes it possible for us to still be connected, lets take advantage of that while we can.  The blog also allows you to see past newsletter articles, and more up-to-date information that for purposes of not wearing out my welcome email doesn’t allow.  I don’t appreciate getting constant e-mails from people, and I wish they would just condense their information to a once a month format rather than bombarding my email daily with lengthy correspondence. For that reason, I have chosen to make the newsletter a monthly publication while the blog can be ongoing and allow those who are interested in communicating more frequently a place they can go to respond to the articles or ask questions about the specials.

Read Your Label

Methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl paraben is an inhibitor widely used in water-based organic products like shampoos, conditioners, facial cleansers, scrubs and the like to inhibit microbial growth while in storage.  This chemical is easily absorbed by the skin and enters the bloodstream as well as the digestive system.  So the question you should want to ask about any substance that can enter into the bloodsteam, especially if it is a chemical compound is, if it is safe?  Remember, only things you breathe, smell, or take by mouth goes through the parts of the body that are capable of breaking down foreign substances and eliminating them through the body as a waste product by means of defecation or urine.  So, if a substance bypasses the bodies natural defense system its components if harmful could possibly cause healthy cells to be susceptible to becoming carcinogenic.  The contention by the powers that be indicate that single products are limited to low levels of this substance, however, if this substance also appears in your shampoo, conditioner, facial cleansers, or any other substances you take regularly those low levels become higher.

Parabens refer to chemicals with similar molecular structures namely ehtylparaben, methylparaben, propylparaben and butylparaben; wherein methylpraben and propylparaben are the most frequently used in cosmetic products.  Be sure to read your label for these products and be sure to buy products that do not use these chemicals.

Consider this fact reported by Bright Hub, “Out of 25,000 consumer products tested by EWG, 10,000 were confirmed to contain any one of these parabens as ingredients.”  For more information click here.

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a stickler for maintaining over making up.  So if you are wearing make up to cover up blemishes, pimples, and the like I would encourage you, to make sure that while you are covering up you are also seeking to find out what the root cause of the blemishes are.  You may find that if it is not diet related it may be the very products you are putting on your skin that is causing the reaction you have.  If you would be interested in trying a skin care system that uses therapeutic grade essential oils I would encourage you to look into Young Living.  I am a two for one type of person, and if I can fix a skin condition while preventing disease at the same time I am all for that.  Click here to find out about A.R.T. Young Livings skin care system.  Please post any comments you have concerning your experience with the product if you have used it or when you use it.  Remember if you are not a member you will have to use a sponsor code, mines is 1213175. A Hebrew Moment
Aleph
In Hebrew language letters doubles as numbers.  Aleph is the first character in the Hebrew Aleph Bet and therefore its numerical value is 1 (one) or first.
The character itself is the picture of an ox.  Can you think of any characteristics of an ox that stands out?  Exactly, they are strong domestic servants. Therefore, the abstract meaning of this character is strong or strength.
 Alephbet
Rom. 8:15
Whereby we cry abba, Father.  The Hebrew word for Father is Abba.  It is pictured above in Hebrew order which shows the picture of the “ox” and the second character is “Bet” which is the picture of a “house”, if you are looking from the aerial view, i.e. a floor plan. Revealing that the Father is the strength of the house, and every strong house has YHWH as the Father of it.
Happy Father’s Day!
